New Email notifier via Popup and Systray

We are in the mist of migrating from Outlook/Exchange to Google Apps.

I've found you nice looking application..

It seems to be a very good solution to get an Outlook-like integrated
experience without having to use the browser we working in...

But GMDesk is missing one nice feature:

A New Email Received Notifier which signals through a popup, systray icon
and optionally playing a sound.

you can get the Google Notifier:
Mac version:

Windows:

Mailplane impliments this seperately from the google notifier. As a matter of 
fact, it almost looks the 
same. So it would be nice to see this feature duplicated with gmdesk.

google notifier does not work with domains hosted with google apps :(

It would be nice to have that notifications on system tray, then we do not need 
to use two applications.
