What is the actual license for this software? #3

I am confused. The text file in the source code indicates that this
software is licensed under the LGPL, but comments in the actual Java source
code seem to indicate that it is licensed under the straight GPL.

Which is it? And if you indicate that it is the LGPL, is that not a
violation of the GPL, since it seems that you have (perhaps inadvertantly)
published the Java source under the GPL?

It is LGPL.. we're still getting all the licenses in place correctly. It will be
finalized as LGPL

Any idea when it will be finalized as LGPL? It's been already two months since
your
last comment but as of today in the code checked out from the read-only
repository
all files contain reference to GPL instead of LGPL...

The licensing ambiguity is also a problem for me. I can provide a patch to the
Java
source to change the license to LGPL if that would speed things up.
