How to import files when config file is deleted #99

Hi,

I usually copy entire directory (including hidden config file) while changing phone or factory resetting it.

This time, I forgot to copy the hidden config file. Now I am not able to import the encrypted files to Encdroid. Config file is permanently deleted when I did a factory reset for my phone.

When I start Encdroid, I see my volume. On selecting it, it asks for the password. After entering password, it gives "No EncFS configuration file found" popup with OK button. On clicking OK, i get another popup "Deriving password key Can take VERY long for some volumes. Consider enabling password key caching in Settings". I left it like that for 12hrs. It continued to show the popup.

Any help to recover the files (using phone or laptop) will be appreciated.

Thanks,
