Ads aren't blocked #125

Mac OS with all updates. I see CGPS Filter Lists in my DNS policies in my Zero Trust Firewall Policies. Action BLOCK; status Active. I added the CF DNS servers on my Mac only as a test, not on my router. DNS works fine, but ad filtering doesn't.

Certain errors during installation: Extended guide says "cp example.env" but correct filename was .env.example I had to put double-quotes around my cloudflare account ID and API token in .env in order to get node cf_gateway_rule_create.js to successfully run

Exactly what CF DNS servers did you add? Unless you have IPv6, in most cases adding the DNS servers by IP address won't work. Instead, it's recommended that you use DNS over HTTPS/TLS, which you can set up in your web browser settings, or use the Cloudflare WARP app logged in to Zero Trust.
