Hi Burton (@mrstampy), I ended up forking your project so I could fix this bug. But now our legal department doesn't like the GPL 2.0 license. Can I have your permission to relicense my fork with something less restrictive? Thanks, Rob.

Not to steal this thread or pull you away from Stampy, but you might want to checkout Yeti as an alternative. It has an Apache license and pulls some of the best ideas from Stampy. Just another option if you can't get the GPL license issue resolved.
