Crossbow guards don't fire arrows #89

Using Fabric port. Version: guardvillagers-2.0.6-1.19.2

Literally I'm just facing the dude and he ain't shooting me

I've seen them shoot mobs.

@omeggga Really? In that version: guardvillagers-2.0.6-1.19.2 I found that crossbow people don't work at all. Yes they perform the animation of shooting the crossbow but no arrow actually comes out.

Me too but strangely if you give them a bow it works, so I suppose it's just the interaction crossbow-guard that is problematic.

Also I remove every other mods that I had and the problem persisted so...

Hmm so exclusively crossbows huh, ill check it out

the crossbow works when I put infinity into it (using universal enchants mod) and give it to the guard villager, but still doesn't fix the problem itself. Initially I thought the guard has no arrows on it's inventory, so I gave some to it's offhand, but still doesn't work... so I don't get how infinity on crossbow works.

I still have the same problem in the new version (guardvillagers-2.0.7-1.19.2) so I guess it wasn't fixed ?

Crossbowmen work for me, odd...

The problem come from me then but I have absolutely no idea of why it doesn't work :(
