Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
while saving config in just xvm.xc file (dont have userInfo.xc or hangar.xc)
editor save

"userInfo": {
   "showExtraDataInProfile": true,
   [...]
   }

but to work it need

"hangar":{
   "showExtraDataInProfile": true,
   [...]
   }

download from modxvm.com "xvm-5.0.2-test2.zip (7.0 MB) Wed, Jan 01, 2014" dont
see any newer build

and still its need be in "hangar" and i think its not wrong. When you download
xvm "showExtraDataInProfile" is in xvm\configs\@Default\hangar.xc

Its just bug in editor v0.71 that its save in "userInfo" instead of "hangar"

Its works now .. but if editor is updated xvm from
http://www.modxvm.com/en/download-xvm/ should also be updated or ther will be
problems like that. Not everyone know about http://nightly.modxvm.com/

We will update it soon. Don't forget that currently only *test* versions are
available.

I know its "test" version and i test it:) but still editor and xvm from
http://www.modxvm.com should be compatible or there is be "bugs" like i had.
When devs change paths in editor for tests with newer builds xvm also should be
changed or make 2nd editor for lastest build form http://nightly.modxvm.com/.
Take it as suggestion. Anyway its fixed so this issue can be closed.
