Modifying layouts

I have created a layout for a specific member group. I then created a new widget, how do i add this to an existing layout and have it appear for all members in that group? Do i save the layout with the same name so it overwrites? I cant seem to figure this out.

It doesn't overwrite. you have to save it under a new name.

• Create a new layout with widgets, and save it (new name)
• Set it as default and assign it to the member-group
• reset layout for that member group
