Ideally, each system should be coverable in about an hour, with maybe a primer + some actual coding students get to do.

stem cell biology seems really cool: https://www.cell.com/trends/biotechnology/fulltext/S0167-7799(16)30056-7?_returnURL=https%3A%2F%2Flinkinghub.elsevier.com%2Fretrieve%2Fpii%2FS0167779916300567%3Fshowall%3Dtrue, open ideas: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1934590920305968 more of the actual science: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23193167/ maybe adapting more of the actual science is generally a better idea, rather than the basics of a bunch of different tools. Both seem generally helpful? here's a syllabus: https://www.cahanlab.org/resources/CSCB_2020_Syllabus.pdf

protein folding + structural biology: https://github.com/RosettaCommons/PyRosetta.notebooks

some general resources: https://www.cahanlab.org/bootcamp.html

also computational neuroscience: https://github.com/asoplata/open-computational-neuroscience-resources https://github.com/ContextLab/computational-neuroscience

HUGE list of resources: a course + complementary github: https://www.coursera.org/learn/computational-neuroscience/home/week/3, https://github.com/computational-neuroscience/Computational-Neuroscience-UW
