Backup button issue #26

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run a backup
2. Complete the backup

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected button to return to normal "Backup" state, instead the button
shows "Backup is running", although the program has no more feedback and
exiting the program doesn't give the 'backup is running' warning.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Using 0.4.0 on Ubuntu 7.10.

Please provide any additional information below.

Exiting the program gives a normal exit.

was there an error on either the command line or in the GUI output?

GUI output, haven't checked the command line. I can check it next time I run a 
backup.
