freezes when exit during restore-operation #52

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start a restore operation
2. quit the program
3. the program halts its operation (followed by top) but freezes

i had to kill it with "kill -15"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
a nice box which alerts me that I am about to quit. and afterwards a nice exit

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
.4
ubuntu feisty, 
only python-sqlite installed (not python-sqlite3)
