Weird characters appear when using MessageBox widget #48

I am using the MessageBox widget to show a popup, but sometimes it suddenly starts outputting weird characters. Input still seems to work correctly, but it just outputs strangely. It doesn't always happen, but I managed to reproduce it multiple times by closing and opening a messagebox. It seems to change the encoding, but I'm not sure..

I just noticed that this is explained as "bizarre output" in the readme.
