+1 nan needs to be updated to > 2.0.0, but it's some work as the api changed a lot!

If you don't need C speed for hashing, try https://github.com/pierrec/js-xxhash in the meantime. It's still pretty fast.

It's 100% Javascript, so you don't need to wait for Node v4 bindings to work.
