Cannot copy from Kiwix into Comfort Reader (for reading temporary text) #5

Comfort Reader 1.9alpha from F-Droid, Android 5.1.

Go to a Kiwix window and select and copy text there.
Enable "reading temporary text"
(optionally: 2. Exit Settings.)
Go to a Kiwix window and select and copy text there.

Comfort Reader shows "No text loaded" etc.

Thank you @aleksejrs for submitting this issue. I'm trying to reproduce the error. On Android 4.2.2 it seems to work fine (see screenshots), so I suppose something has changed with Android's clipboard. You can help doing the following things:

Please verify if your selected text on kiwix actually gets copied to the clipboard. After selecting and copying on kiwix open any text editor of your choice and paste the text there. Does the text show up?
Test if you can read something you copied from another app such as any text editor or an internet browser. Does Comfort Reader also fail to display text which was not copied from Kiwix?

Please verify if your selected text on kiwix actually gets copied to the clipboard.

It works (pasting into Notey). The problem does not depend on whether the text is plain English or Russian.

Test if you can read something you copied from another app such as any text editor or an internet browser.

It works then (Firefox).

I can copy from Kiwix into Notey and then from Notey into CR.

That's a good workaround for now. So from what I see it seems to be a Kiwix and Android-version specific bug. What I find strange is that copying works with other apps. Let me know if something changes with any system update or kiwix update.
