Traveling? #48

Closed NRmash closed 7 months ago

NRmash commented 7 months ago

Hey, has anyone managed to get the traveling to work? So from one map to another works but no items are traveled. No directory is created to transport the data.

GUS.ini

[ServerSettings] PreventDownloadSurvivors=false PreventDownloadItems=false PreventDownloadDinos=false PreventUploadSurvivors=false PreventUploadItems=false PreventUploadDinos=false

Start parameters

-ClusterDirOverride=/server/asa/ -clusterid=nastyroots

Does anyone have an idea?

The rights are set ;)

Are you sure cluster support has been added already? I know it wasn't there ~1-2 months after launch and I'm not playing at the moment. Has this been confirmed by Wildcard?

IIRC they wanted to add this once a new map launches. But haven't read any official statement, just read some forum posts about that topic.

ARK #pc-patch-notes SERVER — yesterday at 05:18 clock v34.83 server (34.82 PC client) - 02/14/2024 - Minor version for servers and clients

Unofficial transfers can now be enabled If you are running your own cluster you can enable this with: -clusterID=[clustername] Fixed an exploit Fixed a Server Crash Fixed animation issue with Heart-Shaped Sunglasses Fixed issue with Lovebugs taking all the Rhiniognatha spawns Fixed issue with some weapons not damaging Lovebugs Fixed some cases where players could not download their uploaded characters

I got it right. These are the same settings as for ASE ;)

i just tried this using the same parameters that you have provided, transferring to another server does work, however: the character data stays on the first server you were on, there is no character to be downloaded on the server you transferred to.
