Users have the power #10

The user can:

rotate the log file without logging (produce a 0 size log);
define a custum constraint;
define a post rotate callback;

I also have written the POD but, please check it for mistakes :).

Thanks @targzeta so much for all the time and effort you have been putting into this! I'll merge this after I've had a chance to go over it in detail, but first glance looks good.
