How will we know if our model is accurate to the data?

Great question, Tommy. I'll add some additional specifics:

Give a set of data and a fit to that data, what metrics (numbers) might we use to measure the quality of fit? I'll encourage folks to use comments here to discuss "Mean absolute error" and "Mean squared error".

we can graph actual data so far on the same graph as model, only 30 days so far of actual data so somewhat limited on the 365 day timeline
