Seems like the camera plugins will come in handy for some pre-processing. Would be good to get this set up automatically from GUI. Current setup is to:

Start with IMAGE2:Proc with CAM as input.
Background subtraction can be achieved by setting up a recursive filter with some number of images, followed by saving background (with background subtraction disabled). Then enable background.
Next, can use Stats2 plugin, calculating sigma to set Proc:Offset. Set this to negative sigma for now.
Next use IMAGE2:ROI plugin with IMAGE2:Proc as input.
Currently doing 2x2 binning, with scale divisor set to 4.
Then everything can be pulled from ROI plugin.

All these settings could be written automatically to make things consistent.

To run this could run a "Set background" or something, this could pull out the imager, turn off the illumination, and collect background.

Should do this on IMAGE3 so as not to interfere with anyone else.

Still need to figure out the best way to handle this... right now the interface does a pretty good job of checking all the settings and displaying the right thing, but I think it's current reliant on the equivalent of IMAGE1:ROI plugin running (and being used).
