Crashes when attempting to use with iTunes v8 #27

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open itunes
2. Select the songs I want
3. Open iLyrics
4. It crashes and gives me the general windows error ("...has encountered a
problem and can not continue")

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The app should lanuch and let me start fetching lyrics0

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I don't know the version of the app - because when I open it to check, it
crashes! But I'm sure it is the latest. Windows XP SP2, iTunes v8

Please provide any additional information below.

In Vista 32 this crashes when I try to run it as well. It take a little longer
to
crash when I select "Run as Administrator" but it still crashes.

Have you got .NET Framework installed? Latest iTSfv installer will prohibit you
installing the program without .NET.

What is going on here? This thing STILL does not work! Is there like no one
working
on this anymore?

Make sure you highlight the songs you want, tell the importer to do its thing,
and
then walk away. Touching things while it's processing will cause it to crash.

I can't even get the program to launch before it crashes and gives me the
attached
error - so its not even a matter of selecting songs or pushing buttons - I
can't get
ANYTHING!

I re-instated the latest version of dot net thinking that it would fix the
problem,
but no - it still crashes before it even launches.

Installed it, it worked fine for a few hours then perpetually crashes every
launch.

Hmm...The same thing happens here. Leave the app alone when it says 'Not
responding'.
It will work after a couple of minutes.

I have the same problem, I just upgraded to iTunes 8, so I don't know the
program's
behaviour with v7...

I hope there will be a solution, I have Vista ULT 32 :)
