Doesn't support German special characters #31

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. insert a song that contains characters such as ä, ü, ö, ß
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
These special characters that a quite common in the German language appear 
as hard to read unicode letters as probably the conversion goes somehow 
wrong.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using 1.1.1.2 on XP SP3 System

Please provide any additional information below.
Would be very helpful as it is not easy to read the text.

It also happens with French and Italian accents...even if in the wiki page they 
are
right.

Hi,

I confirm that french accent are still not well displayed

It could be nice to fix this in order to use it...
