Explorer doesn't render on startup #19

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install with Registry setting
2.Restart computer after install
3.Logon as normal

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The system fonts to be rendered as with any program that loads. System font
does not render but program fonts do.

What version of gdipp are you using? On what operating system (with
bitness)?

0.6.1 Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Please provide any additional information below.

One question:
Does the explorer crash and restart again and again, or the explorer is still
running yet the font is missing?

You can refer to issue 14 to see wether it is the same issue?

Thanks,
Gary

No theres no crashes, explorer loads fine. The default system font is still
there but
it doesnt look like its being touched by your program. No its nothing like
issue 14, as
i have tried ending the explorer.exe process and restarting it after logon but
the
fonts remain the same.

The fonts are changed for 3rd party programs such as chrome just not for
explorer. Also
Windows Live Messenger doesn't sign in, but Windows Live mail doesnt crash like
with
the issue i raised the other day, it works fine.

Heres an example of the rendering in firefox compared to the title bar and my
start
menu. This is with the registry install.

I just managed to download v0.7.0 and that actually fixed my explorer issue.
