Scrolling is slow and choppy in UltraEdit #28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Obtain UltraEdit  http://www.ultraedit.com/
2. Open a text file that you can scroll
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Scrolling should be smooth.  Scrolling is slow and 'choppy' under gdipp.

What version of gdipp are you using? On what operating system (with
bitness)? gdipp 0.7.2 Beta for 64-bit Windows 7 (English)  

Please provide any additional information below.

There is a memory leak in 0.7.2, which has been fixed in the repository. I 
recommend
you exclude UltraEdit at this time, and try 0.7.3 later. Report us if the issue
stands still.

Using 0.7.3 and UltraEdit is still choppy.  I have excluded it for now.

The responsiveness of UltraEdit is quite good here. Make sure you choose a 
correct
font (Tahoma, Segoe UI, Arial).
