Service depedencies? #43

I use gdipp on my office machine (Windows XP SP3 Ja) and would like to
transition over from gdi++ on my home laptop. This computer is also
running XP, however it's a rather stripped-down installation, created with
nLite.

After initially installing gdipp, the program functions correctly.
However, upon restarting (with the service set to 'automatic') gdipp does
not appear to be enabled. Starting the service manually produces the
attached dialog.

I expect the problem is related to services that have been removed from
Windows. I have attempted to re-add the files that gdipp requests (using
Filemon.exe from SysInternals), however the service still does not start
correctly.

May I therefore ask which dependencies (other services/files) are required
for gdipp to start in Service mode?

Cheers,
James

The service depends on the "winmgmt" service. It is an essential service and
usually
not quite possible to be stripped. The service depends on EasyHook32.dll and
gdipp_common_32.dll. There are also some system files in the dependency list.
You can
view them by using PEiD (http://www.peid.info/).
