Missing alicats at start up #121

This problem is intermittent, but it is relatively common for 1 or 2 alicats to be missing from the UI at startup. Usually a restart of the full system fixes the issue, but why is it happening?

It is not clear if this is a problem with the initialisation at startup or if it is purely a UI issue.
