Missing Alicats #158

This is an intermittent problem with the alicats. Ocassionaly (maybe 1 time in 3 or 5?) the system misses an alicat at boot up, resulting in it not appearing in the UI. This is fixed by a reboot but shoudn't really be happening. Ca we pin down the cause?

It was particularly an issue on the aircraft as the software launch time runnign over the aircraft netwrok was significantly slower than for normal lab operation. Thus having to reboot was a bigger deal.

We'll look at this when operating over the next 2-3 weeks. If it doesn't occur any longer then we'll close

We saw something like this today when one alicat appeared as if it wasn't a controller ( controller:false in cvt ). Don't know why, but needed a reboot to get it right.

Removing ready for testing label as there is nothing to test here. Occasionally we still see that an Alicat is missing (to my knowledge last time this occured was during the MOYA detachment). A restart of the system usually fixes the problem. Matt does Dave's comment above give you a clue as to what is happening?
