Currently, MW 3 calculates confidence intervals and related tests using the normal distribution as is more traditional in meta-analysis. MW 1 and 2 used Student's t, however, as it was thought this was better given low sample sizes in many studies; this was somewhat controversial.
We could add an option to allow the user to specify which distribution they wish to use.
