Desktop installer "Launch Open mSupply Desktop" checkbox doesn't appear to start app #4584

What went wrong? 😲

I installed the latest Desktop (client), upgrading an existing installation. With the checkbox "Launch Open mSupply Desktop" checked I pressed OK. Open mSupply Desktop was not launched.

Expected behaviour 🤔

Should Launch

How to Reproduce 🔨

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. ? Have desktop already installed
  2. download installer/upgrader
  3. upgrade and check the box on last step
  4. Press OK - app doesn't start though

Agree that a solid potential solution is just removing the checkbox, it's a pretty low value, rarely used feature

Daily triage, not a hot fix candidate so leaving for weekly triage
