iSC/Cold chain/GAPS: cannot remove manufacturer once selected in item variants #5498

What went wrong? 😲

When adding a new item variant, there is an option to specify the manufacturer. Once selected, the user cannot remove it - backspacing and clicking on the screen results in the selection coming back, and the usual X is missing from the field too

Expected behaviour 🤔

Should be able to remove selection

How to Reproduce 🔨

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to Catalogue -> Items -> Variants
  2. Add a new variant
  3. Select a manufacturer - note you cannot remove your selection

I think this is livable for now, the work around if you accidentally set one is to close the component.
