Vaccination report table is misleading #630

The table "Srovnání očkovaných a neočkovaných za posledních 7 dní" at https://ockovani.opendatalab.cz/statistiky. can be quite misleading. You are probably aware of this because of this quote:

Při intepretaci dat je třeba si uvědomit, že zastoupení očkovaných a neočkovaných v různých věkových kategoriích není stejné, například ve věkové skupině nad 70 let je plně očkováno přibližně 85 % obyvatel.

Yet the quote itself doesn't help much.

I suggest that a separate table should be added. It would contain the same information, but categorized into age groups, with infection/hospitalization/death rates normalized per 100k people in each age group, based on vaccination. This could provide much more insightful information about how much the vaccine does (or does not) help.

If you agree, I can try to implement it and send a PR.

Hmm, I checked the data and maybe there isn't a data source for this? We need an unaggregated report of hospitalizations per age group, is it available somewhere?

Thanks for reporting. We know about this issue. Unaggregated report Is not available, we've already asked UZIS and they promised that they will publish it in the near future.

If someone wants to take a look at it, this data was published (in Excel as a one-time upload so far) here and visualized here. Hopefully ÚZIS will create an open data collection out of this soon.
