Baseless claim "... the fact that the PCM is not as well suited to analyzing structures that exhibit features of central interest to economists and econometricians.." They omit the Elephant in the room that the first causal inference approach taken by Haavelmo - Economics Nobel

Encoding dynamics is a different issue, not directly related to PCM. PCMs with graph dynamical systems approach would be a more natural tool to address equilibrium issues. One could argue that settable system approach leads to information loss due to removing DAG.
