Some software code already exists. While moving through the time slices of the tour editor, you can synchronize the left slider in the 2d map. Also by moving the left slider in the chart.

A often practice is to analyze an ascent in the chart. I set the left slider to the start and right slider to the end of the ascent. Now it is very useful to move the value point to look for gradient, speed and so on. Unfortunately you don't see the value point in the 2d map.

Many user of GPS data know and appreciate the feature of the value point in a map from komoot or outdooractive.

This feature will be available in the next version, all sync actions are now located in a new slideout.

It would be very helpfull to show the value point of the charts in the 2d Map.
Motivation: Frequently one will look for special points in the chart. For instance maximum elevation, maximum speed, maximum heart rate or something else. For this it is very interesting to see the location in the map simultaneously. Although working with the sliders is possible, this is not very handy.
Another improvement would be, to synchronize the map to the value point, analog to sliders.
