dependencies corrupt #6

dependencies corrupt Hey there, on my last server I used homedecor and it worked with all the required dependencies. But now it is a pain... besides finding the packages, the dependencies are causing errors and shutting down my server. I did not document them... there were to many of them. Why cant there be just an all in one package for it, instead of making the user go search and fail for several hours :(...

I figured ... last time I installed homedecor before farming and this time the other way around ... with this both mods it is either/or ... I would love to use both, is there a way to fix that issue?

Vanessa Dannenberg Vanessa Dannenberg @VanessaE · 7 months ago Maintainer Without an except from your debug log showing the errors you're getting, I can't help here. That said, I have no problems running Homedecor alongside farming and tons of other mods, as in my Dreambuilder game, for example.

As for dependencies, all of my mods are published in Minetest's main-menu Content Store, which does proper dependency resolution as far as I know (or at the very least, each package declares what it needs, and none of my mods depend on things that aren't on in the Store, as far as I know).

ironically i had this issue setting up a testing enviroment. you most likely ran into trying to enable a dependency where mte forcefully disables it because its in another modpack somewhere, even if you do not have that modpack enabled(leading to the dependency errors. mte https://github.com/minetest/minetest/pull/11784 should resolve this
