executemany is very slow #60

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use executemany with a list of query parameters.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect the parameters to be bound and a single SQLExecute call be made.

Instead it calls execute for each query parameter, which binds and calls
SQLExecute.

When inserting many of records, this makes a huge difference.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.3.3 on Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm no expert on ODBC but ceODBC does this, if I understood their code
correctly, and it's immensely faster.
