YGO Omega parsing texts for all languages #3

Hello,

I'm one of the developers of YGO Omega. I'm interested in your idea of separating card effects into the same format as original Japanese cards for the TCG languages. I see that you wrote a python code to use regex to separate card effects: ① Effect 1 ② Effect 2

I wonder about the accuracy of this and how regex can actually pinpoint and separate the effects. It should use PSCT in the conditional statements to do this. Perhaps we can work together to create a code that can be applied for all card texts in the English language at least since that is easy to work with and we know what the PSCT keywords are.

We have the resources to do this as we already maintain a card database for every card in all formats and 12 different languages, beyond Master Duel's card database. If you are interested, contact me on https://discord.gg/duelistsunite

That Python script was written and used by RndUser0, but I don't actually use it. All the parsing is done in Haskell. However, in terms of numbering effects, this does not parse the language used, instead it uses Master Duel's effect separation. It should be noted that the way I do it does not currently result in a 1:1 equivalence with OCG, but with a little bit of experimentation this could be achieved if desired.

I am on the Discord as tam/tam0999, I'd be happy to help. Couldn't find you there since you must be using a different name. Feel free to @ or DM me. I can look into automatically generating numbered text descriptions for Omega based on cards which have effect separation in Master Duel. It seems with the latest update they've added effect separation for a ton of old cards which previously didn't have it!
