This PR introduces the origin option for the image in input to sampleImage and chi2Image to Fix #118.

TODO:

[x] test on GPU; all tests pass after 1680941
[x] add helper functions in the cookbook to get a meshgrid in the two cases of origin parameter (referenced in the technical requirements page).
[x] update index.html with reference to Technical details page; done in 8d11a0e

Ready to merge.

Performed speed test with automated baseline script and analyser. No appreciable slow down noticed. All timing differences are <<1%.
