Not all ports are accessible when firewall is turned off #1028

I've configured SMB server to listen to eth3 (this is WAN network).
However, it's not accessible from outside even when firewall is turned off.

telnet 10.201.93.249 139

works from the router console and within LAN, but doesn't work when accessing
router from outside (10.201.93.249 is my fixed ip).

Also, please add "Access SAMBA services from WAN" in the firewall menu.

You must open ports:
tcp 137
tcp 138
tcp 139
tcp 445
udp 445
udp 137
udp 138
udp 139

Also you should not disable the firewall.

Also you must understand that this is insecure way!!!

How can i open them? Add them manually as exclusions?

Yes, i know that, I just wanted to enable them for a while, copy a bunch of
files, and disable them

You can use http://my.router/Advanced_VirtualServer_Content.asp for opening
needed ports.

But I don't recommend to open SMB ports for access from the internet.
It is better to use FTP or sFTP
(https://code.google.com/p/rt-n56u/wiki/CommonTips#Let_your_FTP_server_be_secure
).
