You know, it's old package and it wasn't properly configured. You can use new
firmware version. OpenVPN server is in webgui now. It seems it's not present in
'Downloads' so it need to be built yourself...

Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry, I'm not very experienced. I just followed
WIKI instructions for installing Optware and OpenVPN. The instructions were
very easy to follow. I currently have the latest full firmware installed.
Is there step by step instructions on how to install OpenVPN with webgui
support (to have full bridging/netbios support)? If not, it would be great to
have instructions for people to upgrade from old openVPN package (cleanly
uninstall and install version of openvpn support for webGUI).

You can try this one http://db.tt/0O5HVhev, which was built with rev
00fc7e9d1526 for test purposes. (almost full version, transmission is excluded).
In VPN Server choose OpenVPN protocol and configure TAP-bridge, also try
'Routing all client's traffic through the VPN?' - Yes

Thats very nice! I really appreciate it! So, openvpn is completely integrated
and usable in firmware RT-N56U_3.4.3.6-066_full? So, I'm guessing ultimately
this firmware will be available to the public in the next official public build?
What happens with the existing old Optware and OpenVPN I have installed already
(on USB SSD stick per Wiki install instructions)? Ideally, I would prefer to
have as clean of an image as possible.
Thanks again for all your hard work and time!

Well, lets say 'completely integrated and usable' is in progress, I think.
You can remove openvpn Optware package:
# ipkg remove openvpn2.2

I just have 3 more questions:
1. Does 'ipkg remove openvpn2.2' remove all traces of the package; including
config/temp files? Ideally, I dont want to have any traces of the old package;
even if orphaned files/directories are harmless, I would still prefer to have
it clean (as if I never had installed OpenVPN before).
2. Is your intention to include OpenVPN rev 00fc7e9d1526 in the next/upcoming
public firmware release? If not, will I have any issues upgrading to the next
public firmware versions that don't include OpenVPN (if I install firmware
RT-N56U_3.4.3.6-066_full).
3. If you already have OpenVPN working correctly (with some basic webGUI
options); except for transmission, what is still left that's "in progress"?
I'm guessing you have a good reason for not including OpenVPN yet. I just want
to make sure that I dont introduce any new issues that I didn't have before (or
lose features) just to fix my current OpenVPN 2.2 problem (not all traffic is
routed to VPN clients).

1. The "remove" command don't delete any temporary files. You can remove its
manually later.
2. All of commits are cumulative.
3. You can install the latest firmware with OpenVPN (f.e. 068_full)
