paranoia.....
Whom are you afraid of so much?!!! )) So, if it is available in the Entware,
then use it! )) As for me, I don't see any reason why it should be used for
local network, until you are going to do something nasty...

Hello,
It helps to stop man in the middle attacks and spoofing. Secure WAN lookups for
routing is all. It doesn't cover your tracks necessarily. It simply creates a
circle of trust that your DNS lookups will in fact be coming from a trusted
source. Tons of people are using a compromised DNS server and may not even know
it due to viruses, etc. DNSSEC
(http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System_Security_Extensions) simply
isn't implemented enough yet and this is a good alternative.
I wasn't saying to add DNSCrypt to the main image. Why waste space for
something people may not use? Adding the GUI code to be there and conditionally
show itself if the binary is installed from Entware, that's another thing all
together. Small number of bytes. Se la vi though. I'll just add it to my local
installation and leave it at that.
Thanks for your time,
Weston
