3TB Harddisk error when I try to read or write to it. #995

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Using my 3tb WDC Mybook external harddisk
2.Write or read too much file make my harddisk name change from aidisk_a1 to
aidisk_b1 (my copy, cut, or read command is error because of it)
3.Already try to format to ext3, ntfs, part my harddisk to 1tb. Still error.
4. Try with my old 1tb external harddisk, no problem at all.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I don't know

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using RT-N56U_3.4.3.6-068_full.zip firmware, copy to windows 7 64 bit.

Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.

I'm using WDC My book essential 3tb to attach to my Router RT-n56u, and when I
read, or write file to it. It always unmount and change letter to aidisk_a1 to
aidisk_b1 after few seconds of process of read or write.

I'm trying to change file type from ext3 to ntfs and fat32. Part it to 1tb, 1tb
partition. Still like this.

But when I try to use my old 1tb external harddisk (fat32), no error when
reading or writing.

Thanks.

Please use second port (farthest from the front panel). First port has
crosstalk issue in N56U PSB.
