Default scroll direction #2

for the love of god, please change the default scroll direction to down=right... like a sane person :)

I really must be the odd man out. Over the years I've never been able to decide whether to cave to the pressure because I honestly personally use the default :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Well I'd definitely recommend keeping the option to change direction, but down to right is the default in all frameworks that implement tab scrolling (gtk2, qt, chrome...).

I actually came here to report just this issue.

When implementing a UI, it should always default to being consistent with the rest of the user's desktop unless doing otherwise is the whole point of the tool/addon/etc. (In which case, installing it acts as the explicit "I want to opt out of consistency" signal from the user.)

That's the first and most basic rule you'll ever be taught in any UI/UX design course worth its salt.
