Didn't detect Celeste game save files #21

Save file view which also uses pcgamingwiki is able to detect and open Celeste's save folder but neither ludusavi, nor this extension is able to do so. Maybe because the install directory is not default and/or ludusavi doesn't detect celeste as installed. Is it possible for extension to fetch this from pcgamingwiki like that addon and add it as custom game in ludusavi?

Where is Celeste installed, and what roots do you have configured in Ludusavi? It does detect Celeste on my system, so this should be just a matter of getting the right configuration.

It was installed on D:/ and pcgamingwiki says save files are stored where the game is installed. The extension was somehow able to backup proper files once I manually added custom game for it though. If able to do so automatically for all games, could save a lot of time, especially relevant since install directory info is available in playnite itself. Ludusavi on my machine was only able to detect gamefiles from documents, localdata, registry and such only. That said, restoring such files on a machine with games installed in different locations is whole new problem but it'd still be cool to be able to backup stuff automatically.

I see, as in D:/Celeste? In that case, you would need to add D:/ as an other-type root. Ludusavi does rely on the roots configuration in order to find games, but as long as the roots are configured, it should work without a custom entry.

Woah, that got it working. Thanks a bunch! I think it could still be cool feature for games with different foldernames though I don't really have an example.
