The project looks awesome! You may want to:

  1. clearly explain how this tutorial will be different from existing nilearn brain decoding tutorials.
  2. List wich tools you are planning on using: will the tutorial be in a notebook? Will you add it on binder? etc
  3. What dataset are you going to be using?
  4. Are you planning to advertise the tutorial? maybe get in touch with the nilearn team on github? post it on twitter? write a short blog or a twitter thread about your experince creating the tutorial?

Those are great questions/ideas. I will make more concrete decisions as I progress, but my response as of right now:

  1. That's a great question, and should definitely be added. I will update this soon.
  2. I was thinking of using several notebooks, and I think adding it on binder would be a great addition to the project!
  3. I am (tentatively) planning on using Haxby's 2001 dataset (https://science.sciencemag.org/content/293/5539/2425.long).
  4. Honestly, I hadn't thought far enough to think of that. That being said, I would be absolutely honoured if I could make this tutorial well enough that the nilearn team would be willing to include it on their webpage!
