I'm using the Vue syntax highlighting file. Have you considered trying to get them merged upstream?

I'm also wondering why theses aren't upstreamed? It's pretty easy to get them in. Some while ago I submitted one myself and it got included :)

@wvh are you still using the Vue syntax highlighting file in current Kate version? If so, does it work? For me in current Kate version 23.08.4 it is not showing Vue in the highlighting Options.
