Why not simply provide an option to store the configuration on the card? If
security concerned, we can use a "master" password to protect it

When my Moto Droid decided to factory reset itself last weekend, all 12 of my
ConnectBot configurations got lost. Would love a capability to backup
to/restore from SD.

each time I want to update cyanogen I loose all 50 of my configured hosts...
takes me hours to put them all back in. Please people... this is ridiculous!

workaround: with cyanogen you have root and can easily backup/restore your
whole /data/data/*connectbot*

Its 2 years since anything has been made on this post, for us users who do not
root our phones are there any plans of back up/restore to/from SD card or
device?

I've got a lot of ˋpost login scripts´ to control my raspberry pi xbmc from
my android phone. Would be great to have a way to export/import them to other
android devices and also keep them safely backed up. Shouldn't be too difficult
or dangerous, is it?

Time to go to some other software. Backup of settings should have been done by
now!
