Any hope of official "stay connected" support anytime soon? #161

Is there *any* hope of getting official support for some sort of per-
connection "stay connected" option in the near future?  I have to keep 
retrofitting the unofficial patch over and over to new connectbot 
releases, and given the other changes this is getting increasingly time 
consuming and non-trivial.  The ability to stay connected (or rather, to 
auto-reconnect) is crucial to many situations.  Is there some way to at 
least get the unofficial patch for this into the official source tree so 
that it's in place for future revisions?  Thanks!
