I’ve been on a similar quest from the keyboard control front. Things 3 for macOS/iPadOS/iPhone is stellar for keyboard control and I haven’t found a good alternative. I tried VimOrg which is excellent for keyboard control on desktop but the companion apps on mobile devices leave much to be desired. Since I also use Linux I was interested in Todoist, but as you say the Flatpak doesn’t work which I’d need since I hate browser apps.

Hi Matt I use the appimage for Todoist. Is there a reason you don’t use that? Thanks

@maestroraemon I don't use any AppImages. I just don't care for that format.

What about Sleek? From your video, it looked like it had the "recurring tasks and the ability to add tasks using native language" features.

what about https://vikunja.io - I was using ToDoist before as well and initially thought the lack of an app is an issue, but... turns out - the website and a direct link works perfectly for me. Notifications are possible via Mail - so for me together with Joplin ;) I got rid of evernote and todoist
