Dvorak is objectively better but the world is stuck on qwerty. I used it for a good few months but changed back because i couldn't type for shit on my laptop keyboard.

Re: remapping rhe vim keys. Yes you should fix any custom mappings you have to make sense to you on qwerty but if yoire trying another layout its not a great idea to remap the whole thing, eg hjkl should stay hjkl even if you need to relearn their positions
