When I open Helm as a plugin in Ardour, it won't register any input from the keyboard in the Save or Browse menus.
Toggling the keyboard icon in the upper left hand corner seems to have no effect.
I can save patches by clicking "Add"; this pops up a new window and text entry works there. However, to access those patches I need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the menu just to the left of the "Add" button.
In a separate issue, Ardour doesn't save patch assignments after closing and reopening a session, making the workaround I've developed very tedious to apply.
