also moves to buildx which should give us arm64 support as well.

NOTE: this doesn't remove the drone config

It's building on woodpecker \o/. We have removed the .drone.yml because it would otherwise push the same image twice and we have merged the current master into this PR because it was a bit stale. Thank you! /cc @erikap
