Home Assistant supports setting swing state as a native part of the Climate card:

It would be nice to add the capability to enable/disable Swing state in a similar fashion.

Swing settings are limited to Off/On/Horizontal/Vertical/Both. Specific vane settings are not supported as part of the Climate card and will need to be set via a custom Select.
- Swing settings will need to be coordinated between the custom Select and the Climate card.

Copying some additional info from #34 :

Consider changing vane direction labels to something fancier and UTF-8-y (see #34)
I think "Swing" should still stay as an option in the vane control dropdowns to make it obvious that while in swing mode, changing the vane direction will disable swing mode. The swing mode controls and vane directions will need to be synced, but this will mostly be done for us by the equipment
